LUV PACS is a program under the Antrim Child Abuse and Neglect Council (ACAN) that collects new items to be packaged in backpacks for children ages 0 to 17 who are being placed in foster care homes due to abuse or neglect. When a child is placed in foster care, it is often on an emergency basis and they have few, if any, of their own belongings with them. This program is designed to provide every child in Antrim County that is removed from their home, with a backpack filled with a variety of essential and comfort items. It is the one constant and tangible item in their present circumstance and will help them in their transition into foster care. Our hope is that you will help us in our mission to show the children of Antrim County that we care about their well being, and that they are loved and thought about by their community family.
