Mancelona Fire District is hosting the annual Community Halloween Party at Mancelona Fire Hall Station 1 on Cedar River Road. The party will run on Halloween night, October 31, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There is no charge to attend.
Mancleona Fire District is hosting a spaghetti dinner on November 11, 2017 at Lakes of the North Meeting room. Suggested donation is $8 per person. Children ages 4-10 are $5, and free for children 3 and under. Immediate family rate is $20. In honor of Veteran's Day, there is no charge for Veterans meals. Thank you for your service!
Dinner will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The dinner is sponsored by Mancelona Fire District Auxiliary.
12th Annual Mancelona Community Craft Show held at the Mancelona Elementary School November 18, 2017 from 9 – 3. Wide variety of items for sale. Concessions and baked goods available. Proceeds help fund Pathway Community Church’s Hands and Feet Camp home improvement projects around our community. New Vendors welcome – Approximately 10×10 space! Call Michele @ 231-350-6367.
The Summer Celebration concerts are in full swing! On Tuesday, July 25, 2017, Billy Craig sang to a group of an estimated 150 people at Triangle Park, downtown Mancelona. Billy, a Detroit-based singer/songwriter, presented songs he has written. Our final concert is coming up Tuesday, August 8 beginning at 7:00 p.m. downtown Mancelona. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Farmers Market pavilion on the east side of U.S. 131 next to the buck pole.
There is no charge to attend. All are welcome, and encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
