April 13, 2021, Mancelona, MI- The Salvation Army of Petoskey delivered boxes of food to Mancelona residential rentals, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and Communities in Schools of Northwest Michigan to feed individuals and families in helping make ends meet during the pandemic. This is the 4th time volunteers Chaplain Tim Kubek, Fred Stow and Benjamin Evans have delivered boxes of food within the last month.

Regional Resiliency Program Grants Available for Antrim County Businesses

The Bellaire Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of the Regional Resiliency Program in Antrim County in partnership with Venture North.
 
The Regional Resiliency Program provides grants of $5,000 to businesses negatively impacted by Covid-19. See the attached release for more information.
 
In total, $45,000 will be deployed to small businesses (9 FTE or less) in Antrim County. $25,000 was raised by the Foundation specifically for the Alden, Bellaire, Central Lake, and Mancelona businesses that we serve and the remaining $20,000 from Venture North will be available to businesses across Antrim Country.
 
ONLINE GRANT APPLICATIONS OPENED Monday, April 12th at 8 a.m. at the Venture North webpage: https://www.venturenorthfunding.org/regional-resiliency-program. Applications are due by Friday, April 23rd at 5 p.m.

State Rep Ken Borton to visit Mancelona

105th District State Representative Ken Borton (R-Gaylord), will be visiting Mancelona on April 23, 2021, with a scheduled stop at Mancelona Township Offices. Constituents are invited to come in, meet Representative Borton, and discuss any suggestions, comments or concerns.  KenBorton


"I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there," Representative Borton said.  "It's important that I heard the thoughts and concerns from the people I represent." 

Representatitive Borton will be at the Township Office from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
