4th annual M-88 Market Tour Set for June 19, 2021

Save the date - June 19, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the 4th annual M-88 Outdoor Market Tour.
It's an Antrim County-wide outdoor market sale along the M-88 Hwy from Mancelona to Eastport. If you live, or have a business along the 26 mile stretch of M-88 between Mancelona and Eastport, this is for you!
BUSINESSES: This is a unique opportunity and ideal time to hold sidewalk and indoor sales. Hundreds come to the area just for this shopping event.
RESIDENTS: you are encouraged to have garage sales, barn sales etc. Various business locations will have sidewalk sales and offer space for vendors to set up booths for their sales. Contact Jamie at 231-533-6448 or Shelly at 231-313-1517 for more details.

April 13, 2021, Mancelona, MI- The Salvation Army of Petoskey delivered boxes of food to Mancelona residential rentals, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and Communities in Schools of Northwest Michigan to feed individuals and families in helping make ends meet during the pandemic. This is the 4th time volunteers Chaplain Tim Kubek, Fred Stow and Benjamin Evans have delivered boxes of food within the last month.

Regional Resiliency Program Grants Available for Antrim County Businesses

The Bellaire Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation is thrilled to announce the launch of the Regional Resiliency Program in Antrim County in partnership with Venture North.
The Regional Resiliency Program provides grants of $5,000 to businesses negatively impacted by Covid-19. See the attached release for more information.
In total, $45,000 will be deployed to small businesses (9 FTE or less) in Antrim County. $25,000 was raised by the Foundation specifically for the Alden, Bellaire, Central Lake, and Mancelona businesses that we serve and the remaining $20,000 from Venture North will be available to businesses across Antrim Country.
ONLINE GRANT APPLICATIONS OPENED Monday, April 12th at 8 a.m. at the Venture North webpage: Applications are due by Friday, April 23rd at 5 p.m.
