Memorial Day Parade

Annual Memorial Day Parade in Mancelona. Begins downtown 9:00 a.m. 

Mancelona Memorial Day Parade - participants (Military, scouts, High School Marching Band) gather in front of the U.S. Post Office beginning 8:30 a.m. The parade is led by the American Legion George Puckett Post #264 and begins 9:00 a.m. The first stop will be at Mancelona Township Library for a service. Parade proceeds to Fairview Cemetery at the intersection of M-88 and West Limits (we will access cemetery from M-88 directly across from Tri-Gas) for another service. Exit cemetery onto Cedar River Road then proceed south onto West Limits, past the schools, to St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery for a service. At conclusion, all are welcome to fall out to Star Township Cemetery behind their Fire Hall on Alba Highway for a service.

** Military members, Veterans all welcomed and encouraged to participate. A people-mover float is in parade for parade participants who have difficulty walking.
