2025 LIGHT UP MANCELONA SANTA AND PARADE
Light Up Mancelona and visits with Santa are in Mancelona on the 2nd Saturday of December. Join us for a free pancake breakfast with Santa at Mancelona High School from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025. A bounce house, activities for kids, and raffles for kids (one free ticket for each child; additional tickets may be purchased).
WINDOW DECORATING CONTEST AND LIGHT PARADE - CASH AND OTHER PRIZES
Mancelona Chamber of Commerce hosts the Window Decorating Contest, held in conjunction with the community-wide Light Up Mancelona annually on the 2nd Saturday of December. The contest is open to businesses and residents within approx. 5-mile radius of Mancelona. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third places in both homes and business categories. To be included in the contest, please email the chamber and include your name, address and phone number. There is no charge to enter.

SWEET FIRE TOBACCO OPENS IN MANCELONA
Sweet Fire Tobacco has opened a location in Mancelona. Owner Frank Saco says the store employs 4-6 locals and is a place to go for friendly service. Available for purchase are tobacco products including cigars, and accessories. "Mancelona is a small area where you don't have to travel far for what you need," Saco said.
The store is located next to Family Fare on Mancelona's north end. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 9a to 8 p, and from 10a to 7p on Sundays.
