TRUESTREAM FIBER INTERNET INFO EVENT PLANNED FOR MARCH 18, 2025 IN MANCELONA

gletruestreamBoyne City, MI - Great Lakes Energy and Truestream will host a fiber internet informational session on Tuesday, March 18 at the Mancelona Township Hall from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. The event is free and open to

Great Lakes Energy electric members who are eligible for Truestream, the cooperative’s new fiber internet and voice network.

Detailed demonstrations and presentations provided throughout the event will cover:

  • Truestream overview and Q&A at 5:00 p.m.
  • TV and streaming demo at 5:30 p.m.
  • Construction steps and service plans.
  • Equipment tech talk (modems, routers, mesh, backup batteries, etc.).
  • Setting up an online account and downloading the GLE app.
  • Registering for Truestream and specific questions about your account.
  • How fiber internet works.

Your registration helps us to prepare for the event. GLE members interested in attending the rally are asked to RSVP by March 14 by completing the registration form found at: https://www.truestreamfiber.com/event/truestream-rally-march-2025/ .

The Mancelona Township Hall is located at 9610 M-88, Mancelona, MI 49659.

Truestream is currently available to Great Lakes Energy members in parts of Allegan, Antrim, Barry, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Kent, Mecosta, Montcalm, Montmorency, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana, Oscoda, and Otsego counties with expansion occurring in Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Mason, and Oceana counties this year.
